Mickey and Minnie Love Us!

When I sent out the wedding invitations, I also sent one to Mickey and Minnie. (No, I didn't actually believe they'd show up!) They sent us well wishes, a signed autograph picture personally made out to us! Just wanted to share another SPECIAL moment from the happiest days of my life so far!


They also sent us a "Just Married" Button. I hope to wear to Disney World someday soon. Living so far away from the magic is really hard on my heart, too. :( I can't wait to have my kids one day. I know I would have to save $ FOREVER to take them. Ah! Can't wait!

Romantic Evening at Home

Ronnie and I spent our first Valentine's day as hubby and wifey in our home. He had no idea what I had in store. We decided we wanted to save our money, so we would make dinner together. But I wanted to make it festive. So, I decorated the kitchen, since that is where we would spend most of the evening. I didn't really have much planned. I knew I was going to bake a cake, but I had nothing to decorate it with. So, off I went to the store where I bought some valentine's m&m's and then I found the heart doilies. I thought "Perfect! I can do something with these!" And I did! Check for yourself. When Ronnie got home he was soooooo surprised! He couldn't stop laughing....he was so amused! We made dinner together, homemade Fettucine Alfredo with bacon and Ceaser Salad. It was easy to make and easy to clean up. So, it was perfect. We had some good wine, which we had purchased back in 2005 at the Epcot Food and Wine Festival. We saved it for something special. We had the cake for dessert and it was good! One of my favorite holidays is Valentine's Day! We woke up to a winter wonderland Valentine's day. It snowed about 3 inches last night. I want to wish everyone a sweet day. XOXO

Will you be my Valentine?

I LOVE VALENTINE'S DAY! I wanted to make some valentine cards for my dearest friends. The ones I created in the picture are for Jackie and Janelle. They don't read my blog often, so I am not worried about them sneaking at their surprise. I made one more and plan to make a couple more. Nothing really special, but since I LOVE Valentine's day and now that I am far away, I want my friends to know that I remember them. Who is your valentine? I used what I already had...because Lord knows I have collected so many scrapping materials within the past few years. I can't wait to get my little craft corner going in our bonus room!

Our Master Bedroom
